ABC Christmas Challenge - A & B are for?

 Happy New Year Everyone!

It's Helen here welcoming you to our first challenge of 2023, and the beginning of our fourteenth (!!!) trip through the alphabet! We hope that you will join us this year in our bid to be prepared for next Christmas! Perhaps you were lucky enough to receive some new Christmas craft bits in your stocking...or snapped up some bargains in the post-Christmas sales...perhaps one of your New Year's resolutions is to have your Christmas cards ready in plenty of time this year...or maybe you just haven't tidied away your Christmas stash away after making last year's cards yet! Whatever the reason, we'd love to have you play along with us all year - we have two (or sometimes three) fun themes each month, with plenty of projects from our design team to help inspire you!

Before I get on to this month's themes, may I remind you to
check the post below to see if you were a lucky winner of our last challenge!

Whilst, as our name suggests, we are predominantly a Christmas challenge, we would like to extend a very warm welcome to cards made for other December/Winter Holidays (for example Hanukkah, Yule etc). There may still be some of our themes that are specifically 'Christmas', but many would work for other Winter Holidays and Festivals too, so as long as your project fits the theme, we are happy for you to enter our challenges.

We have noticed an increasing number of entries posted on Instagram...we're very happy to have you on board & you'll find some of our DT members there too...please use the hashtag #abcchristmaschallenge on your posts.

Okay, here we go!
We have two themes for you this month:

'A is for Anything Christmas'
'B is for Bear'

There's a little prize from me for the lucky winner:

A set of Christmas sentiment dies and a 6x6 Christmas themes paper pad.

And now it's time for some inspiration from our Design Team:

A is for Anything Christmas Goes

B is for Bear

A is for anything Christmas Goes

So now it's over to you...this challenge ends on Saturday 4th February at 10pm (GMT).

Winner and Top 3 for Y and/or Z

Hi everyone!  Wendy here to announce this month's winner and my top 3.  I'm blown away by all of the amazing designs that you created.  Only choosing 3 was a tough one for me.  Let's jump to it!

The winner of the prize pack for this month's challenge of "Y is for Youngsters" and "Z is for Zoom", as chosen by random.org is:

Aimselee with her adorable bird house scene!!

Congratulations, Aimeslee!  Please email me, using the link in the sidebar, to claim your prize!

And now, for the hard part..... I had a really hard time choosing my top 3 for this month.  Everyone created such beautiful cards and tags:

Susan Sudbury with her adorable mint fairy

Yvonne with her spectacular snow globe gnome

Cebelica with her sweet snowman card

Congratulations!  Don't forget to grab your badges from our tab at the top of the page. Thank you everyone for joining my first challenge!  Come back on soon for our first challenge of 2023!!  It's never too early to get started on those Christmas cards....
