A for Animal Challenge

Hello everyone.

It's Annette here today, and I'm so honoured to be bringing you our very first challenge of the new year. Thank you all for joining in with our Zoo challenge which was our final challenge of 2012 and I hope you all had a happy and safe new year.

So, don't go putting your snowflake punches away just because it's January. You need to be ready to get your Christmas 2013 creations started. Don't forget that if you play along with us, and make one festive card every week, you'll have over 50 Christmas cards created by Christmas. No more rushed cards in November!!!
And to start us off, we've got an easy-peasy challenge for you. So dig out a leftover mince pie, grab yourself a cuppa, and settle down with your chrimbo stash and join us for :

A for Animal

Nice and easy (especially if you like teddy bears like me!!!)

I'll have to admit that it's a doubly fantastic week too as our sponsor this week is one of my favourite digi artists, StampFairy digis.

"Stamp Fairy officially launched on November 5th 2010. Gerda Burghardt, artist and owner, creates cute and whimsical digital images for the young and old, inspired by her life, love and 4 cute cats. You will find adorable teddies bears, young boys and girls, fuzzy little bunnies and whimsical critters.

Stamp Fairy has new releases along with a FREE image every Friday and Guest Designers each month. Please visit the store and browse StampFairy’s wonderful images. We hope StampFairy’s images inspire YOUR creativity."

Pop over to their store, cos they sell some real cuties. StampFairy are offering one lucky random winner a $10 gift certificate.

We're also lucky enough to be joined by two of StampFairy's talented designers.

Please welcome Céline and Larissa. I hope you'll pop over to their blogs to see more of their beautiful 'animal' themed cards:

And here are the fabulous creations from our own uber talented design team :

Samantha's new year resolution was to make more C&S style cards, and she' doing a fine job with this one. Fab card honey, and I love your Memory Box frosty die.

Kraft colour goes so well with any colour and Helen's made this beautiful card with some gorgeous sparkly papers.

I'm in love with these images that Lacey's using, and her gorgeous snowflake die is just amazing. Gorgeous card honey.

Another stunner from Dorte, fab Magnolia tree dies and a beautifully coloured bear image.

Bettina's bear looks gorgeous with his brightly coloured ornaments and fluffy snow at his feet.

Wilma's used one of my favourite bears and coloured him beautifully. I love the tree scene she's created too.

And I've got a bit carried away and have 2 similar cards to share. Both using Barry bear, but two different images and two different colours.

FINALLY - DT CALL UPDATE:

We really enjoyed seeing so many of you enter our DT call. With so many fabulous entries it is going to take us a while to check through them all and make our selections. The choice is soooo hard, so please bear with us, we're working through all the entries and we'll be in touch with the winners soon.
