R is for Recycling and Ribbons or Rhinestones

Hello, Carissa here and this time it is my turn to host the ABC Christmas Challenge.

Before I tell you all about our new challenge I must say that I was blown away by some of the gorgeous cards for our Q is for quote challenge. Be sure to check the post below to see if you are a winner.

The new challenge is
R for Recycling and Ribbons or Rhinestones
You must create a Christmas project using at least on recycled item and it must also include either ribbons or rhinestones. You may use both if you desire.

We are lucky to be sponsored this week by Digital Delights
They have an awesome selection of digital stamps, papers & more,

and our Winner will receive 3 digital stamps of their choice.

To get you started we have compiled a list of recycling Hints and Tips to get you started.

Some ideas that you might include on your projects are:

Alter it - give an old item a new purpose and a new lease on life.
Die cut plastic or chipboard packaging to create one of a kind embellishments.
Re-use buttons, ribbons and lace from old clothing.
Re-use Christmas cards and wrapping paper.
Run flat plastic packaging through an embossing folder to make a gorgeous textured window or overlay.
Use corrugated cardboard and other textured items as a one of a kind background stamp.

Now lets check out the gorgeous recycled projects that the DT have created.
